Hey Marlins!

Sorry I tried to send this email out last night but Swimtopa was having tech issues.. 

Thank you to everyone for hanging in there tonight through all the weather updates and, ultimately, the cancellation of the meet. We know it was a frustrating evening, but we truly appreciate everyone's patience, flexibility, and positive attitude.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers over the past two nights, as well as those who were ready and willing to help. We couldn't host meets without you!

Special shoutout to Kelly and Kristin, who stepped up to run the meet computer and help manage things for Settlers Landing when their usual meet manager was unable to attend. That's what being part of a swim team family is all about—supporting each other when it matters most. Great job, everyone! 👏

Champs Practice Starts Today!

Please follow the schedule below through Champs. From this point forward, practices will be for swimmers who are participating in Champs.

Champs Practice Schedule (July 8–13)

11 & Over

• Morning: 8:30–9:30 AM
• Evening: 5:00–5:45 PM(except Friday)

10 & Under

• Morning: 9:30–10:30 AM
• Evening: 5:45–6:30 PM(except Friday)

Important: Champs Meet Availability

Even if your swimmer has not yet achieved a Champs qualifying time, please make sure to indicate their availability for the Champs Meet.

Champs is July 14

• 12 & Under: Morning Session
• 13 & Over: Afternoon Session

Why is this important?

Coaches often have opportunities to include swimmers who have not yet qualified through:

• Open individual event spots
• Relay team placements
• Other opportunities that become available as lineups are finalized

If your swimmer has qualified in more than three events, families may indicate event preferences. However, please note that final event selections and lineup decisions will be made by the coaching staff based on what best supports the team.

We're excited for the final stretch of the season and can't wait to see what our Marlins accomplish at Champs! For those not heading to Champs, we can't wait to celebrate an amazing season with you at the Swim Banquet on Friday!
